Yes, in the crossover of all crossovers Archie will, indeed, meet Jay & Silent Bob! This big announcement was just made this past week in THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, and I am excited to be a big part of it. Actor/Director/Writer/Comic Nerd, Kevin Smith is writing the comic and the Fantastic Fernando Ruiz is penciling! I am Inking Fernando Ruiz’s amazing pencils on the project and the art has never looked better! We’re about halfway through the book now and on track for the July release date. And, let me tell ya, no punches are being pulled on this comic–LITERALLY!!! Poor Archie really takes a beating!
Now, with Diamond Distribution is in Bankruptcy many fans have been a asking me, “Will my local shop have the book?!” To this I have answered, “I don’t know.” But this I DO know…You can order direct through Archie Comics (https://archiecomics.com), they’re already taking pre-orders, and I’m pretty sure through Kevin Smith’s company. And I’m positive the comic shops will have copies as well. They’re a pretty resourceful bunch, those shop owners, and if they see a book that they know will sell they’ll get it in somehow.

In other news! I have FINISHED all the art/coloring/lettering on my upcoming graphic novel, F.A.R.M. SYSTEM: RAGE!!! It’s now in the hands of the proofreaders and then I get to fix all my typos. Then, off to the printers and into the stores come November. NOVEMBER?!?! Yes, these things take time nowadays. Lots and lots of pre-release shananegans that have to be done these days. But fret not, it’s all for the better and yields better results for all involved. I am so unbelievably happy with the way the sequel has turned out and can’t wait for you all to see it.
That some month the FLASH GORDON Graphic Novel for Kids will hit the stands and I have two stories in this fantastic anthology! I’m a lifelong FG fan so this project was a dream come true for me. It is published by Papercutz! And they do phenomenal work! Go to their website and check out their line of books, it’s truly inspiring!
