Hola! It has been some time since I’ve posted any updates on cons, art, myself and my upcoming projects. The good news is that all of the above have been busy motoring along!!! I’ve attended several cons in the past few months, including the SPX this past weekend, and all of them have been terrific! My next convention is this weekend in Brookfield, WI. at the Brookfield Square Mall, Sept 16 and 17th, 10am-closing hours both days. Be there!
On the new book(s) front: F.A.R.M. SYSTEM Book 2 is about halfway done right now (yaaayyyy) and will be hitting stores in Fall of 2024. I’m incredibly happy with Book 2. I think it’s even better than the first one. Stay tuned on details…
My other project, my illustrated novel, MERCY, is done!!! And a sequel has already been started. Now I debate whether to “shop it” to publishers or just get it done as a Kickstarter… Right now I’m leaning towards Kickstarter so I can get it out there sooner. Finding publishers can be a long and arduous task and I am not about “long and arduous.” So look for big news on this soon.
Additionally, I am teaching my third year at the incomparable Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD). I am a Professor (yes, you read that right!) of Illustration. I also instruct courses in Comic Books! I love it! MIAD is a preeminent college of the arts and it’s a real honor teaching there.
Also! I have been accepted to display a piece at the Jack Richeson Gallery show at the end of this month thru November. My piece that will be exhibited is from my upcoming book, MERCY. (pictured on this post) Richeson is world-renowned for their high-end art supplies and Easels. Their gallery is right here in good old Wisconsin.
That’s it for now…
EXCELSIOR!
